Here at Alpha Delta Pi, we have a packed-full social calendar that allows for us to strengthen sisterhood as well as expand to meet others within and outside of the NC State greek community. Some of the most notable social events are as follows:

Semi Formal & Formal

Semi Formal is always held at the end of the fall semester and Formal at the end of the spring semester and they are always the most decadent event of the Fall season. Past semi formals have been held at exciting venues with a number of bands that have proved to show a good time. The cocktail atmosphere, dancing and laughter always serve as a fabulous way to close out the semester.

Date Function

We have multiple date functions each semester. In Spring of 2014,we started this semester in shimmering style by ringing in the New Year with our New Years Date function. Our annual Crush Cocktail followed in February. This event took place at Spy Raleigh and everyone brought their “crushes” for a special night on the town.We finished out our semester with the Dynamic Duos date function. Couples included JFK and Jackie O, Forrest Gump and Jenny, and Venus and Serena Williams

Mallard Ball

Mallard Ball is an annual tradition celebrated among other Alpha Delta Chapters as well to represent the opening of duck season. We hold this event in the fall as a mixer with the brothers of Sigma Chi fraternity. All attendees deck themselves out in camouflage attire, making this a favorite for many Alpha Delta Pi members.
